What is CWELCC?

The Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) program reduces daily childcare fees for eligible Ontario families with children under six. Enrolled centres are capped at approximately $22/day in 2026, down significantly from pre-program rates. The federal target is $10/day by end of the decade.

Not all licensed centres participate. Non-CWELCC centres are still fully licensed and regulated, just at market rates. ChildSpot clearly labels every listing so you can filter by what works for your family.
